Lucky Stiff - November 2025

In June we’ll be starting rehearsals and casting for the musical Lucky Stiff, to be performed 5-8 November, by arrangement with Music Theatre International

This is a joyful, life-affirming musical farce, from the same creative team as 'Seussical the Musical' -  Lynn Ahrens (book/lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music). Based on 'The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo', it follows the unlikely exploits of an English shoe salesman whose life is turned upside down by a cast of quirky opportunists (and a dead uncle)

Whether you’re interested in leading roles, cameos or ensemble, please come to our launch night, 3rd June 7.30pm at Betchworth Village Hall, when director Fiona Kuhn-Thompson and musical director Paul Thompson will introduce the show. Auditions are then expected to be 24th June, but as usual there will be flexibility for anyone who can't make these dates.
